Just tried out my Luba Mini for the first time. Setup was easy and training the cutting area was very straightforward. Best if you have a thick lawn with no exposed dirt patches or freshly seeded areas as it will tear up the dirt with the rear wheels when turning itself around.

Battery life is okay for a small lawn and will vary depending on settings. If you allow the mower to use the most efficient cutting pattern, it will make fewer turns, take less time and preserve battery life.

The biggest benefit for me is that I can cut the grass while gardening or washing the car. I can also cut more frequently to encourage a healthier lawn.

The only downside is that it only cuts a maximum of about 5” on each pass, resulting in a very narrow striping pattern.

Though the Luba Mini is a very capable mower, power raking to level the lawn in the spring and fall, and good turf weed management will produce the best results.

Initial setup was a bit time consuming, but the app is fairly intuitive and time from unboxing to mowing was surprisingly fast. Mower was delivered in the afternoon and we were mowing about an hour later, and on until 11 that night. Having a bit more trouble mapping the connections between areas, but will tackle that today. Cut quality is great and the lines in the lawn are excellent.

I have a small yard, less than .25 of an acre, set up several areas and it gets the job done. I think it is more fun watching it its job…lol. Still tweaking the perimeter and learning all the functions, but highly recommend it.
