Awesome

I don’t know why anyone would want to buy a “regular” lawn mower. Incredible technology that keeps my yard looking like carpet 24/7.

Impressive product

I have used the Luba mini for a week now at my cottage 1.5 hours drive away. I'm able to control it, schedule it and view live camera from the app. The rain sensor prevents it from cutting and getting jammed up. The price for 4G is reasonable and CEM be purchased for 3 and 6 months at roughly 5$/mo.
What an amazing product. I'm really impressed.

So far very very pleased

I'm just a few days in, but I'm really impressed with the quality of the cutting and the relative ease of setup. There are a few challenges I've had around keeping it online and GPS location, but they seem to be mostly resolved and functional at the moment. Figuring out to have more areas that are smaller size on my lawn seems to be helping as well.

Cute and useful

Works great as intended
Only issue is that the battery life is quite short

Cheaper than hiring mowers!

I wish I had known about Mammotion last year! I’m due for full knee replacement and had to hire a company for my yard work.

After tiring of their less-than-stellar weeding and feeding, decided to look for a rider, but I’ve got a smaller and pretty sloped yard.

Found Mammotion. Eureka!

The Luba 2 AWD 3000HX will tackle my yard, for LESS than the team I previously hired and can afford to bring back TruG to restore my turf health. Will take 7 months for ROI, and then future seasons will be FREE…

Technology FTW!

We have a vacation property an hour away. Luba2 awd keeps the lawn immaculate. It’s a pleasure to pull in and the lawn is done, saving me 45 minutes of mowing. My previous mower from another company required a wire which would interfere with the invisible dog fence signal and was only 2wd and always getting stuck when I was away. It removes my guilt and requirement to drive 2 hours to mow if I decide to not use the property one weekend. I know it is taken care of by Luba. The 4G add on service is reasonable and replaces spotty cell service. And no network wires to run!

1st Impressions

Only have used it for a week or so. Preliminary thoughts are that it, as is I, are in the learning mode.

Will see after the season how it turns out.

Mows the Lawn and Confuses the Deer

Love my mower. So pleased to be able to handle this myself, as opposed to having a lawn service in.

Please ignore my wonky lines as I'm still experimenting with some of the settings, but I wanted to include a picture of one of our neighborhood deer trying to figure out what this nearly silent intruder was doing on his lawn.

Dave

I received my Luma 3000H about three weeks ago. Setup was fairly straightforward, and while the app could be more intuitive, it’s functional enough to get the job done. The mower cuts well in dry conditions, but with all the recent rain here in PA, it's struggled a bit—any moisture tends to flatten the grass, causing it to miss a few spots. Still, it does enough to keep things under control between cuts. Looking forward to some dry weather so I can finally get that crisp, crisscross pattern.

So far so good....

Approx. 2 weeks into ownership of the Luba 2 3000HX and so far...so good. Setup went quicker than expected. Our home is in a rural area, with heavy tree cover on three sides and a very steep incline in the backyard. Cell service is terrible as well, so I had reservations regarding maintaining a strong signal with the Luba even if using the RTK. We've had considerable rainfall in our area over the past few months, which has translated to sopping wet, muddy conditions. I thought I'd put the Luba to work in the harshest environment possible so I mapped out my first mowing area and hit start. It performed rather well considering the current state of the lawn...even leaving a seldom used set of patio furniture in place at the bottom of the steep hill for it to navigate around. There were some areas where it got stuck in the mud after trying multi-point turns, but a quick edit of the map kept it out of the areas that were problematic. I've since created two separate task areas at the front of the house, and the unit moves seamlessly up a steep bank to a paver walkway to get the front to begin it's chores. The RTK unit is on the steep embankment at the rear of the house, with open view of the sky, but there are some spots at the front where the unit struggles to maintain connectivity. This problematic area is directly under heavy brush so I'm not too concerned at this point. My plan is to mount the RTK somewhere on the roof in hopes of maintaining signal more consistently. More info to come as we get more time spent with Luba.

Luba 2 3000XH review

I've been using the Mammotion Luba 2 3000XH robotic lawn mower for the past two weeks, and overall, it's done a good job keeping my lawn trimmed with minimal manual effort.

Pros:

Convenient and Time-Saving: Once set up, the Luba 2 handles mowing on its own, freeing up my time for other tasks.

Quiet Operation: It's much quieter than a traditional gas mower, which is great for early or late mowing.

Eco-Friendly: No gas or oil needed—fully electric and efficient.

Cons:

Missed Spots: Occasionally, it leaves small uncut gaps between mowing lines. It’s not frequent, but noticeable enough to require touch-up with a manual trimmer or a second pass.

Mapping Accuracy: The onboard mapping system could use some improvement. The virtual boundary and pathing sometimes feel a bit off, which may contribute to the missed areas.

Verdict:
The Luba 2 is a promising and mostly reliable robotic mower, especially for those looking to automate lawn care. While it’s not perfect—mainly due to the occasional missed patches and mapping inaccuracy—it does a good enough job overall to be worth considering. With a few software updates or tweaks, it could be excellent.

I was between 3 stars and 4 stars as it keeps missing grass

I am torn as I am still trying to figure out the mower. it does a good job, but if you have thick grass like Zoysia you need to plan on mowing 2 times per week. It misses spots and pushes grass over pretty often. This is fine if you mow twice a week, or have the size lawn where you can mow in two directions like a checkerboard.

Robot mowing

The Mammotion Luba 2 AWD has been such a time saver, there has been a couple hiccups but once I had the map set with no go zones this machine really gave me back the time it took mowing. It has replaced my ride on mower and gave me back my weekend time!

Luba mini

It does a fairly good job. Every now and then it will miss a strip of grass. Maybe one strip per task randomly. These robot mowers are only as good as you set them up. You have to keep tweaking all the settings. Don’t try to map to close to perimeter, you have to do that anyway. Don’t let the grass get out of hand, or mow when wet. Best to mow at the lowest speed if you have a lot of obstacles.

Unclear about connectivity

While I thoroughly appreciate the productive outcome of the devices design, at purchase I did not fully understand the required three-pronged connectivity -- 4G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. My home location doesn't have strong 4G and is intermittent throughout the day and zero at night. Consequently I have been able to get the Luba and RTK reference station connected in the morning to complete a full task area cycle...only one time since receiving the unit. When 4G disappears, so does the functionality despite numerous hours of trial and error in an attempt to figure out why it stops working.

After a week of this daily effort and reading and rereading the documentation provided in the academy, I've concluded I was not fully prepared to understand the delicate connectivity requirements as presented in the available marketing and promotion materials AND the academy education documents.

I've watched some available YouTube complex user explanations of various trouble only to discover they too are perplexed by some of the language and issues. I find the online Mammotion videos posted on YouTube to be more glossy hype rather than providing assistance with in-depth technological detail needed to understand the nuances of my particular home installation.

I'm starting to think the device will work for my location long-term. I want it to, but I can't nurse it everyday the way I'm having to do now.

I've utilized the online chat several times with moderate success and improvement in my understanding. I've also used the hotline with zero success in solving my issues while being recommended to purchase yet another unit. Fat chance of that!

I wish your help line services were more effective. Clearly they are the weakest part of Mammotion's operation - a theme I am reading in other purchaser feedback.

Mammotion Luba Mini 800H

I'd been contemplating, researching and reading buyers' comments for quite some time now. So 2 weeks ago I bit the bullet and ordered my "Lulu" (it arrived on my late sister's birthday). Once I figured out the workings and settings of it I'm starting to feel comfortable with its workings. I love it! Now I can go play pool while periodically checking on its progress on my phone's app. All I have to do is the fine cutting with the string trimmer around the edges, which had to be done along with the old push mower as well. Now I can sit back with a beverage and watch my sister, Lulu, mow the lawn.....sweet!

Two Luba 2 AWD 5000HX

Have 2.5 acres of rural cutting to do. Decided to go with the two 5000HX vs one 10000HX. I wanted to not be pressed for time cutting all 2.5 acres given rain days, etc. that might interrupt schedules. I spent a lot of time reading the manual, watching set up tutorials, reading blogs and posts on social medias. Paid attention to the positive and negative feedback. Found it critical to fully understand the machines and their capabilities and limitations before putting them to work. Took my time ensuring I had everything properly set up.

So far, I love Bill and Ted. They save me a ton of time and do a much better cut then I have ever done in my life.
