The mower is easy to setup and does a great job with the lawn. I like cutting patterns and the designs it is capable of doing. I would have rated it 5 stars if the bumper didn't come off when mowing. Future designs will need to figure out the bumper issues.
This mower has been a welcome surprise. I thought it might help in my workload of keeping a large lawn mowed while I would still have to use the riding mower on a regular basis. This thing has taken over the task completely and has been trouble free over 4 months. It has covered 210 MILES of mowing my yard. Six days a week it is mowing. My yard is broken up into sections and it covers them all twice a week here in peak season. I have rotated the blades and cleaned the underside twice. Great unit!
Have not had any type of problem so it's worth rating highly.
We love our new lawnmower. It mows and gets through our thick Zoysia grass very well. The assembly was straight forward and easy. The setup was confusing and difficult. We still have to tweak and setup some no-go zones. Otherwise, it's great.
Love the job it does and the straight lines it makes on the lawn. I wish it would cut right at the boundary lines, but overall, satisfied. There have been a few glitches, but keep getting updates on it.
This Lawn mower ( I call him Lawnie) has changed my life, seriously. It auto mapped my back yard since it is fenced. I had a learning curve trying to map other areas but I reached out through the app chat and was connected to a live person that walked me through it. It is so quite you can run it at night. I was hesitant due to price and the fact that I am not techy but it is worth every cent and I am so happy with my purchase. Thank you, Mammotion!
Overall, the Luba 3 has been a good purchase. It mows the majority of my yard very well. However, it doesn't seem to mow the perimeter as good as I would like. I have a stone border around the majority of the yard as well as an aluminum fence. I lowered the border so the Luba 3 could ride on the border and mow the edges better, but it doesn't. It also has difficulty staying close to the fence, so I still have to do a lot of edging with a string trimmer and sometimes I use a mower to clean up the border. My yard is not generally square, there are curves and one section is a narrow triangle and the mower has a difficult time figuring out how to mow it. The mower also has difficulty mowing in corners. If it would mow into a corner, then make the turn and mow backward into the corner, I feel it would work better. Prior to this purchase, I had no experience with robotic mowers, so the learning curve was a little difficult at first.
I do feel like the mower works great, I just feel that the programming and mapping could be better and I imagine over time it will get there.
Using the mower has saved me a lot of time, but if you are considering buying a robotic mower you will still need to do a little edging if you want a nice manicured lawn.
I have 2 houses in different states. I bought the Luba 3 AWD for the house that is on a 1/4 acre lot. When I'm at the other house, the Luba 3 mows my yard without needing my intervention. The house is on a steep hill and the Luba 3 does a great job of mowing even on the hill. If it slips on the hill, it recognises it and goes back over the area is slid on. If it starts raining while it is mowing it returns to the charger and notifies me. Part of my yard is fescue grass and part is Bermuda. The Luba 3 mows both just fine. It took me several times to determine the best way to map the yard but once I figured it out, the Luba 3 does a great job.
I've had a Yuka for the last couple of years and it performed great on my yard in town. However, I moved to a new home with a much larger yard and steep slopes. The Luba seemed like it would fit the bill--and it does. It handles the slopes with ease, as well as other terrain issues the Yuka would have struggled with. What I didn't expect was the improvement in overall performance. This robot is FAST, mowing a lawn twice the size of my old one in less time. Its navigation is also better, and there are more control features in the app. Not only am I happy to give it a good review here, I've recommended it to friends and family.

Light and durable and only takes a few minutes to assemble and install over your mower charging station. Keeps the Mammotion robot mower clean and dry as it likes as well as keeping leaves out of the charger
I have a strong appreciation for this garden tool and although there have been some initial hiccups for some, I expected this to be par for the course in adopting to new technology. Overall, I am very satisfied and feel the tool is indispensable for their gardening needs, an thank Mammotion for offering this to the masses.
Love this thing. We have a complicated yard, including an intense slope, large area, many trees and kids equipment, uneven terrain, firepit, back rock line, etc. and this has handled it as well as I could expect. The app and connection with RTK can be a little clunky (as can the docking to recharge - I often have to manually adjust it and set it back on its dock), but those issues could in part be due to what I have to work with for placement. We'll see how long everything lasts, but initial impressions are good.

With the help of AI, I identified the only workable mounting spot on my house — the SE gable, where I already had a gable end vent and a Ring Flood Cam. I needed to position the bracket below the vent but above the Ring Flood Cam, and because a centered placement wasn’t feasible, I mounted the bracket slightly to the right. My house has 8” Hardie Plank lap siding, and the mount sat cleanly and securely against it.
I chose to use stainless steel screws instead of the included hardware to avoid any potential staining on the siding. Installation was straightforward, and the bracket felt solid once in place.
Feeding the power cord through the mount’s cutout was simple. I routed the cable through the gable end vent and into an electrical plug‑in inside my attic, keeping everything tidy, protected, and out of sight. Once installed, the RTK module sits firmly, maintains a strong signal, and looks professionally placed despite the tight constraints.
Overall, I’m very happy with it. The mount is sturdy, easy to work with, and flexible enough to handle a tricky installation spot.

🌱 Setup & Customer Service
Mammotion’s customer service was consistently attentive and responsive. They stayed engaged throughout the entire process, which I appreciated. Even with their support, it took about six weeks before the mower was fully functional.
The biggest challenge was my location. My yard has heavy tree cover and frequent cloudiness, which severely limits satellite visibility. Because of this, the LUBA 3 could not operate at all without a strong RTK signal. Before RTK was established, the mower was essentially “dead” — it couldn’t navigate, map, or mow.
📡 RTK Requirements & Wall Mount Kit
Due to the trees and sky obstruction, the standard RTK placement wasn’t enough. I needed to purchase the RTK Wall Mount Kit to elevate and reposition the antenna for better sky visibility. This wasn’t an optional upgrade — it was required for my environment.
Once the RTK antenna was mounted properly and the mower finally made consistent contact with the RTK signal, the LUBA 3 came to life. It immediately became functional and was able to map and navigate correctly.

After the mapping was created, the mower began operating but had initial navigation challenges. During its early mowing sessions, the LUBA 3 struggled with its path and repeatedly ran into my Sky Pencil hedge, ripping off several small branches.
These issues were part of the mower “learning” the yard and stabilizing its navigation. After several repeated mowing cycles, the mower stopped hitting the hedge entirely and now follows its mapped path accurately.
🤖 Performance After Stabilization
Once the RTK connection was stable and the mower had completed several mowing sessions, the LUBA 3 became the mower I hoped it would be:
• Accurate wire-free navigation
• Smooth transitions between zones
• Clean, consistent mowing patterns
• No more garage or hedge collisions

• Reliable operation even in a tree-covered yard
It has been working beautifully ever since.
⭐ Final Verdict
The LUBA 3 AWD is a powerful, capable robot mower — but only if the RTK is properly set up for your environment. In my case, heavy tree cover and cloudiness meant the mower could not operate at all until the RTK Wall Mount Kit was installed. Customer service was attentive, but the setup process took longer than expected and required additional investment.
Once everything was dialed in, the mower’s performance has been excellent. If you live in an area with significant tree canopy or sky obstruction, be prepared to optimize RTK placement and allow the mower a few cycles to learn your yard. The results are worth it.
The right blades for a beautiful lawn. These blades allow my Luba 2 AWD to keep my lawn in perfect condition. It has never looked better.
I love using this mower stand. It safely secures my Luba 2 AWD while I clean it and change the blades.
Luba 3 is a major improvement over Luba 1, from the cutting disks that do not get tangled with grass blades as easily to the positioning system that can handle locations with very limited sky view. The software needs some improvement, especially the beta feature of "drop mowing".
Only about 3 mowings so far but have been happy with its performance. It really helps to review the videos from other customers. One thing I've notice is that the screen shots and procedures for different steps have changed over time. So you may have a bit of a learning curve at first. I found that it helps to start with a regular mowing first and then have the LUBA 3 maintain the cutting height thereafter. I am currently at a 2.8 inch cutting height and that seems to match my Cub Cadet riding mower pretty close. The precision of the lines it creates while cutting is great. I've had numerous neighbors and people walking by the yard make positive comments in just the few times I've used it. I'm hoping this will give me more time to do the edging and weed eating in the spots that neither mower can reach. Now I'm just waiting to see how it does in the long run.
Best thing ever! Has a few glitches but overall love it! Also support is excellent as well.
I just signed up for the 4G service and it is working well. The only downside I see at this point in time (a few weeks in) is that the service sometimes drops and I have to go into the menu and reconnect. Other than that, it seems to be working fine.
It would be nice if I could split up an existing mowing area into two separate mowing areas without having to create a new one with the mower
Light enough to grab for a quick rinse in the yard and sturdy enough to hold the Luba3 with no issue. While cleaning and changing blades. A lot better than flipping it over on a pool float like I used to do.
