This is my second robotic lawn mower. I had another brand that i bought about 7 years ago and had wired boundary. It was great for its time but the innovation in the Luba 2 is awesome. First thing i love the most is NO MORE WIRES. Using the app to setup your boundaries, schedules etc was easy to learn and use. The old robotic lawn mowers, cut the grass in a random pattern. With the luba 2 you can have the nice lines that many people desire. So much more efficient. The awd handles slopes with ease which is another feature I love.
Have not unboxed it yet as summer is over for now
Had a Husqy 315X Automower for 8 years. From the Philly area. I would say I really liked it. The wires just became too much. Couldn't aerate or verticut without significant problems and wire repairs. It also didn't do a thing for leaves but make a mess.
This Yuka1000 is amazing. Very impressed with quality of cut. App is a little tough to get used to, but now I'm rolling and couldn't be happier. RTK set up was easy. 10ft from my house and not really near any trees, but there is a couple within 10 feet of it. No problems yet.
Haven't gotten the bagger yet, coming in tomorrow. I'm confident it will do well. Thanks Mammotion! Got my time with my family back.
I bought the Luba a few years ago and enjoyed the automatic lawn care from this robot. Last summer it quit charging. I called the help line and they walked me through some diagnostics. It was still under warranty so I sent it back. They could not get the parts to fix the original mower. After a few weeks we recieved the Luba2 awd 10000. With the upgraded features it avoids obstacles and will stay on task under the tree canopies. Five hearts to the Luba2 awd 10000. The upgrade was worth the wait.
Waiting for spring and summer. With the drought, had no mowing. Already for the snow. I know I will enjoy as I hate mowing
My luna mini is a great addition to my garage. I have a yuka mini and my luba mini covers all the places I need 4 wheel drive! Excellent quality! Thank you mammotion for another quality mower. I just wish the 800 came with the 6.1ah battery like my yuka. I will be upgrading that just for the longer run time.
I was very excited about getting this mower, after using an older Landroid mower for a few years that required a guide wire and wildly zig zagged in every direction. It normally took about 3 days to fully mow the yard. The Luba doesn't need a wire and mows in a nice straight lines. I created a nice area for it with a paver base, setup the mower\antenna and created the first area map using auto-mapping. It worked pretty well, but had a few issues due to all the twist, turns and angles in our back yard. I then manually mapped the back yard and was ready for the first run. I started mowing about 3 feet from the mapped edge and started going back in forth at the end for some reason. At first, I thought great...it lost its mind. However, I just let it go and watched it for a while. Though it did go in nice straight lines, it seemed to miss pieces along the edge. Finally, looking at the path it is taking on the map, I noticed it was mowing the inner section and then it went back and finished the pieces around the edge. This is where a nice bolded statement would have come in handy, describing this process. All in all, it did a great job and completed in our big back yard in about 4 hours.
So far so good ! Great mower -
The mower has handled it's assigned tasks well. The only issues I have had are with thin areas in the lawn and the tires tearing them up. In the healthy turf areas the mower is doing great.
I wish I had bought it years ago. Great for mowing large property with pretty big hills.
When we first got the robot, it wasn’t working. Waited a week just for customer service to assist but we eventually worked it out. Good product. Terrible customer service.
It took me awhile to map and program but once I did it I understand it a little better. I'm able to sit back and watch (not listen) to it mow my yards. I'm very paticular about how my yard looks (St Augustine grass) and the Yuka mini 800 is all that I need. I did lose my original mapping and schedules when I moved my RTK unit but now I know that will happen again if I have to relocate it.
My yard shape is weird, not sure I picked an ideal location for charging. I have a partially fenced in area which abuts an unfenced area where I placed the charging unit. It tried to get back to the charger through the fence... The no go feature is not ideal as it expects to be mapped as an area, not a line. Since I need to open the gate to let that in, I may just do that small yard by hand.
Yuka 1000 does a great job at picking up grass clippings and leaves.
I also own a Luba 2 5000 (2024), and a Luba 2 X 3000 (2025).
All of My robots have worked flawlessly once I got the hang of using them.
Mammotion is really quick with customer service and the 1 repair I needed was back to me in about a week.
I recommend this company to everyone.
Overall, couldn’t be happier that I haven’t touched my gas lawn mower at all this year. But it’s not all perfect.
The boundary setup was pretty easy. I just wish I could use a map to adjust and make straight lines. Having to manually operate the mower to create the boundaries leaves some weird moves that need to be ironed out
It’s not the easiest to clean either. A lot of grass clippings get caked on the floating tray holding the cutting discs.
Finally, the connection isn’t great. I don’t expect to have WiFi or 4G in every inch of my yard but it’s quite often that I can remotely connect to the mower and need to get within Bluetooth range. First world problems, I know, but it’s not a great party trick when I’m trying to show off my ability to mow when I’m not home only to not be able to make the connection.
One more finally because I don’t want to go back and edit, it took some playing around to figure out the right connection to the RTK. There were several times that the mower would lose connection in the yard and I’d have to go rescue it.
So several minor nuances but overall very happy I purchased. I love sitting around watching Bruno work (yes, that his name and no, we don’t talk about him) while doing whatever else around the house that I want.
My yard is discontinuous. My front and side yards have always been easy to keep manicured wit my ride on mower, however in the back of the house, behind the pool is a gravel pathway then down a couple set of stone staircases we have our back yard. Even though the kids playground and a fire pit is located there it was hardly ever utilized as it was constantly overgrown since the only way to mow it was to bounce a push behind mower down the stair and pull it back up after I mowed it. So often it just went unmowed. After doing research and landing on the Luba 2 I requested it for Xmas of 2024. This year has seen our backyard utilized like never before. After getting creative in terms of how to power the base station for the rtk and for recharging as I had no power down there, the robot has worked without issue all summer and has kept my backyard manicured like never before. For those interested in my power management solution. I invested Anker solix power station that I protected using a deck box that I built, active cooling too, and is kept charged via solar panels.
I've only spent 4 hours working on setting this up, but so far, it is not an easy task. Finding and maintaining satellite access for the RTK has been very difficult. Based on some posts in the Facebook group for Mammotion, there are others that have found satellite coverage to be highly variable. Maybe it's a satellite issue? Once I get the RTK connected, having that connect and maintain the connection with the LUBA 2 AWD (H version) has been the straw that ended my first attempt. I mapped a small zone and then the app would not save the zone because the connection was too weak.
I haven't given up yet. The mower seems to be high quality. The app is fairly intuitive.
Onward.
(If it's possible, I'll update this post as I go along)

I had an ecovacs mower before and so glad i switched
Continuously loses positioning, stops working in the middle of a task, in consistent cutting.
Used it twice only this year. Still figuring out best configuration to use. So far, really glad I made this purchase.
takes a little trial and error to try diff things but once you have everything set it’s jus dos it all for you!! Amazing robot and amazing customer service help while I was setting up.
I recently purchased the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD 10000H Version and overall, it has been an excellent investment. The mower handles our rugged and hilly terrain in West Virginia far better than I expected. The AWD system keeps it stable, the cut quality is very consistent, and once you get the mapping set up, it works reliably without needing constant supervision.
The app is user-friendly, and the ability to customize mowing zones and schedules makes lawn maintenance so much easier. I also like that there’s no perimeter wire to worry about — a big step forward compared to older robotic mowers.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to limitations that aren’t really the mower’s fault. Our location in West Virginia doesn’t have great cell service, and tree cover sometimes blocks the satellite signals the mower relies on for RTK positioning. When this happens, it can take a little longer for the mower to re-establish its signal, which occasionally interrupts a mowing session.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Luba 2 AWD 10000H to anyone with a challenging yard. If you live in an area with strong cell service and good satellite visibility, it would easily be a 5-star product.
Work perfect & very quiet, need more time to get used to the features
Easy setup, easy to use, intuitive controls and it even puts itself to bed.
A robot was the best option for me and this mower exceeded my expectations.
Usually the yard only looked good for a few days after the crew came by, now it will always look nice.
Mower has been great so far. Only complaint is I wish it would send less notifications. I don't need to know when it decides to return home to charge and when it gets back home and successfully docks. Please allow notifications to be customized.
Also the lawn art feature needs to be improved to allow the 'uncut' pattern to be maintained such as the max height the mower can mow.
