Haven’t pushed lawn mower this year!

Overall, couldn’t be happier that I haven’t touched my gas lawn mower at all this year. But it’s not all perfect.
The boundary setup was pretty easy. I just wish I could use a map to adjust and make straight lines. Having to manually operate the mower to create the boundaries leaves some weird moves that need to be ironed out
It’s not the easiest to clean either. A lot of grass clippings get caked on the floating tray holding the cutting discs.
Finally, the connection isn’t great. I don’t expect to have WiFi or 4G in every inch of my yard but it’s quite often that I can remotely connect to the mower and need to get within Bluetooth range. First world problems, I know, but it’s not a great party trick when I’m trying to show off my ability to mow when I’m not home only to not be able to make the connection.
One more finally because I don’t want to go back and edit, it took some playing around to figure out the right connection to the RTK. There were several times that the mower would lose connection in the yard and I’d have to go rescue it.
So several minor nuances but overall very happy I purchased. I love sitting around watching Bruno work (yes, that his name and no, we don’t talk about him) while doing whatever else around the house that I want.

Find a solution to my complicated backyard

My yard is discontinuous. My front and side yards have always been easy to keep manicured wit my ride on mower, however in the back of the house, behind the pool is a gravel pathway then down a couple set of stone staircases we have our back yard. Even though the kids playground and a fire pit is located there it was hardly ever utilized as it was constantly overgrown since the only way to mow it was to bounce a push behind mower down the stair and pull it back up after I mowed it. So often it just went unmowed. After doing research and landing on the Luba 2 I requested it for Xmas of 2024. This year has seen our backyard utilized like never before. After getting creative in terms of how to power the base station for the rtk and for recharging as I had no power down there, the robot has worked without issue all summer and has kept my backyard manicured like never before. For those interested in my power management solution. I invested Anker solix power station that I protected using a deck box that I built, active cooling too, and is kept charged via solar panels.

Excellent Robotic Mower for Tough Terrain – Limited Only by Local Signal Coverage

I recently purchased the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD 10000H Version and overall, it has been an excellent investment. The mower handles our rugged and hilly terrain in West Virginia far better than I expected. The AWD system keeps it stable, the cut quality is very consistent, and once you get the mapping set up, it works reliably without needing constant supervision.

The app is user-friendly, and the ability to customize mowing zones and schedules makes lawn maintenance so much easier. I also like that there’s no perimeter wire to worry about — a big step forward compared to older robotic mowers.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to limitations that aren’t really the mower’s fault. Our location in West Virginia doesn’t have great cell service, and tree cover sometimes blocks the satellite signals the mower relies on for RTK positioning. When this happens, it can take a little longer for the mower to re-establish its signal, which occasionally interrupts a mowing session.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Luba 2 AWD 10000H to anyone with a challenging yard. If you live in an area with strong cell service and good satellite visibility, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Look no further

Easy setup, easy to use, intuitive controls and it even puts itself to bed.
A robot was the best option for me and this mower exceeded my expectations.
Usually the yard only looked good for a few days after the crew came by, now it will always look nice.

Great mower so far.

Mower has been great so far. Only complaint is I wish it would send less notifications. I don't need to know when it decides to return home to charge and when it gets back home and successfully docks. Please allow notifications to be customized.

Also the lawn art feature needs to be improved to allow the 'uncut' pattern to be maintained such as the max height the mower can mow.

YUKA #2

I started with a YUKA 1500, liked it so much with the sweeper, I decided to add the YUKA 1000 for my yard! Once you figure out the Mammotion app, you realize how incredibly flexible the YUKA is in mowing everything from stripes, to patterns, to random mowing, to designs in your lawn. The sweeper is great when you want to pick up clippings, thatch or leaves. If your lawn is relatively flat, or has gentle slopes, with complicated landscaping, the YUKA 1000 does an awesome job.

So far so good

Everything was super easy to set up. The mower itself to the software on your phone. If you follow the instructions there are no problem. I let my yard grow out too long will I was in the transition from the tractor to the Luna. It took about 3 passes to get everything cut up and looking right again. Would tell anyone thinking about trying it out go for it. It took me a couple years to make the decision and I wish I hadn’t waited so long.

Nice machine but difficult to operate

It was easy to assemble and link to the app. The directions on the app are not very clear and I'm having a hard time making it do what I want.

Great Unit!

Loving the robot mower so far. Better than expected and my hopes were pretty high. I have a smallish (2500 square feet) flat back yard. The Yuka Mini is perfect for it. Now just have to sort out how to manage a shared front yard too (my end, not the unit’s challenge), and it will be even better!

A little workhorse

I have a small yard, less than .25 of an acre, set up several areas and it gets the job done. I think it is more fun watching it its job…lol. Still tweaking the perimeter and learning all the functions, but highly recommend it.

Overall happy, but...

Not able to navigate into a corridor just wider than the mower, or else I would give it 6 out of 5 stars!

Wonderful once set up correct

Received in wonderful condition. I was told it was easy to set up, but it took some time to figure out where to set up everything (charging station, RTK, etc). It took several mows to figure out where to set the perimeter. We have a lot of trees, hills, rocky clay areas, etc. Once that was all set with some no go zones it was practically perfect. We set schedules for back, side, and front lawn. It worked without mutch hitches. Just make sure to clean your mower, especially if it mowed some wet grass and it will work amazingly!

Life Changing

Truly a life-changer. This past Summer has been especially difficult for our lawn. Constant rain made it so that we were mowing every 3-4 days. Each time takes well over an hour. It's hard work in the heat. We planned on waiting to purchase this for next Spring, but with the anniversary discount we decided to act. I'm so grateful we did. It arrived within a week. The setup takes some effort, but by no means would I describe it as complicated. We watched videos on YouTube that easily guided us through. Once it's setup...sit back and enjoy. You press a few buttons on your phone, and it does its thing. The peace of mind knowing that the lawn is taken care of without any more effort from us is such an incredible feeling. Not just that it is getting cut, but that I get to keep the lawn at the same desired height every single day (with no effort) is amazing. I could not recommend this enough. In fact, I rave about it to our neighbors as they all ask about it. We are now considered the high-tech people on our block :). This is easily my favorite equipment purchase I have ever made.

Works great with some caveats

Received the mower via UPS and the box was a little torn up which only concerns me as when I need warranty work you have to send it via this box.

Received my mower last week. The mower was very easy to assemble (bumper and vision module). Installed outside but where I wanted to park it it didn’t get a good signal, so I temporarily had to move the RTK antenna in the middle of the yard with the wires for the base stretching across the yard. I have since ordered the optional house mount which will get installed tomorrow. Even with the antenna in the middle of the yard, it still doesn’t get a great signal. I changed the setting in the software to use the Internet and that is worked out OK for now.

I’m not a console gamer so it took me a few minutes to get the hang of creating maps and no-go zones, but everything worked as it should. I have had it mow a few times and the grass looks great. A couple of people walking their dog have stopped to take a video of the robot working which is kind of funny. My next-door neighbor has already asked me about it, so I might be the salesman for our subdivision lol.

The only hiccup I am experiencing is the app constantly loses connection to the mower, so I have to tell it to reconnect. However during this time the mower continues on its task and doesn’t stop.

I also purchased the garage and wish it was about 4-5” longer as the front bumper sticks out a little.

We are in our 60’s and are in SC which is very hot many months of the year, so this little guy will be saving us hours of mowing in that heat next year which will be very welcome. All in all good purchase.

Exceeds expecations and cuts perfect lines

I think like everyone you're skeptical especially during the initial setup. Even during the first cut you're constantly either standing outside watching it or connecting to FPV to make sure it's not making a break for freedom. After a few weeks it works near perfect. It's not without some odd issues (randomly running into the house, but the front bumper works as it should and it backs up, and its random and not everytime or the same place.) You'll spend more time setting up the RTK antennae and getting the charging staiton level then you will training it. I had to move the RTK antennae 3 times and it took 4 tries to get the charging station level (that was the only annoying issue, if the charging base is even 1 degree not level, the Luba will back up and pull forward until it fails out, even though you get the verbal notification that it's charging each time, it'll just pull forward again.) Once you get everything dialed in, it's perfect. I'm cutting at 5.1" spacing and 3.3" hieght at 2 fps, and the lines are perfectly straight even though my yard is definitely not level.

Very happy

The rtk and GPS positioning works better than other robot mowers. The app works most of the time, however there are some strange wording in mapping functions that looks like it was lost in translation. Mower performs as advertised. My backyard is not flat and has no issue traversing.

Great solution for a problem lawn

The Luba Mini 1500 is our second robotic lawn mower. The first, from a different provider, was a random pattern mower with perimeter wire. As the summer progressed, the need for a perimeter wire to find its way back to the base station resulted in 30 inch paths of dirt at the edge of the lawn where the machine got stuck up to 3 times daily.

The Luba Mini (we call her Madeline Mower) a huge relief. Four wheel drive, easy mapping, ability to turn off perimeter mowing while the damaged edge heals, and big zag adjustability have resulted in "no-problem" lawn maintenance so far.
